In-person registration dates for children ages 6 to 16 are Saturday May 23rd and Saturday May 30th from 10:00am to 2:00 pm at our theatre located at 99 North Austin Street, Rockport, Texas 78382. Forms for mail-in pre-registration will be available at the theatre, on our FACEBOOK page and on our website, www.rockportlittletheatre.com beginning May 1st, 2025.
The workshop begins Monday, June 1st and culminates in five performances: Thursday, June 25th at 7 pm, Friday, June 26th at 7 pm, Saturday, June 27th at 3 pm, and Sunday, June 28th at 3 pm. A special performance at Camp Aranzazu June 29th at 3pm.
Classes last four hours, 8am to 12pm Monday through Thursday. Each four-hour workshop session consists of a one-hour Basic Stagecraft module and three hours of performance preparation. This year we proudly present Willy Wonka, Jr. Children will learn from experienced thespians how to audition for, rehearse, and perform in this whimsical one-hour play, and the workshop will culminate in a showcase of their talents in front of family and friends, and you.
The cost of the four-week workshop is $150.00 per student, and $75.00 for siblings (scholarships are available upon request). Each student will be provided a T-Shirt, snacks, and water during the workshop. We only have room for 40 participants, so reserve your spot soon!
